Prmary job duties will include development of marketing processes and maintenance of market appetite lists. Remarketing of existing, new accounts, and hard to place accounts.
The preferred candidate will have:
o minimum 1 year experience in personal insurance.
o Carries a minimum General Agent Level 1 Insurance License through the Insurance Council of British Columbia
o Technologically proficient, with the ability to learn and adapt to new programs such as Broker Management Systems, Rating Systems, and Company Portals.
o Building relationships with new customers sourced by various forms of leads, asking for referrals, generating new business, and increasing customer retention.
o Maintain a diary of prospective clients and follow-up on sales leads.
o Review and work renewal lists.
Customer Service & Producer Support:
o Provide friendly, professional service to staff and producers
o Handle routine staff inquiries/concerns
o Ensure work is prompt, efficient and accurate
o Maintain expiration and abeyance files
o Ensure all documents are accurate
o Lead by example, being a positive role model
o Contribute to a positive team environment by working efficiently, professionally, and in a friendly manner
o Improve our organization by sharing ideas and opinions, contributing and building communication in all directions and levels
o Assist others as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
