The Role

As a full-time Insurance Advisor you will be sales-driven and results-oriented with a passion for helping others. In this role, you will play a key role in providing exceptional front-line customer service for Personal Lines and Autoplan policies. You’ll focus on retaining and developing client accounts, quoting, and placing new business.

What you’ll Do

  • Assisting of walk-in Personal Lines and Autoplan clientele
  • Process and monitor daily/weekly/monthly renewal lists
  • Autoplan and Personal Lines transactions as required
  • Servicing on-going client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct are calls and process renewals
  • Process ICBC renewals, new policies, endorsements, cancellations etc. to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business in an effort to grow book of business
  • General administrative duties as required

About You

  • Customer-oriented, professional, and passionate about helping others
  • Hold a Level 1 BC Insurance License
  • Experience in Auto (ICBC) and in Personal Lines is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
  • Cantonese/Mandarin fluency is an asset
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite, CRMS)
  • Willing to grow and develop within a fast-paced environment
  • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Accountability and a sense of urgency
