Branch Manager – Insurance

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

What You'll Be Doing:

As an Insurance Branch Manager, you will:

• Lead and manage a high-performing team, including employees in Autoplan, Personal Lines, and Commercial Lines.
• Ensure the branch operates efficiently and meets all operational goals while delivering top-tier customer service.
• Drive growth by acquiring new customers and enhancing coverage for existing ones.
• Collaborate with senior management to execute marketing strategies and meet growth targets.
• Take charge of customer service issues, addressing complex concerns with professionalism and ensuring swift resolutions.
• Mentor and coach your team, ensuring objectives are met and the branch achieves key performance targets.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure high levels of client retention.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing day-to-day branch operations.
• Managing renewals, pricing, and client proposals.
• Handling policy changes, contract reviews, and mid-term endorsements.
• Providing leadership and direction to your team of licensed insurance agents.
• Ensuring the branch consistently meets or exceeds performance targets.
• Supporting new business development and ensuring all administrative functions run smoothly.
• Ensuring excellent service for customers on all insurance-related matters.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years in the insurance industry with solid knowledge of the BC market.
• Education: Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience; Level 2 license (or working towards it).
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Desirable Qualifications: CIP or CAIB designation is preferred.
• Client-Focused: A commitment to providing outstanding service to clients and team members.
• Leadership: Proven experience in managing teams and driving performance.
