Job Description:
We are looking for a licensed and experienced ICBC Insurance Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of ICBC Autoplan experience, with strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Personal Lines experience is a great asset.
As an ICBC Insurance Advisor, you will handle ICBC Autoplan transactions, assist customers with policy renewals and changes, and provide expert insurance advice. You will also have the opportunity to sell travel insurance products to help clients find the best coverage solutions.
Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by educating clients on coverage options and ensuring they get the best policy for their needs.
- Process ICBC Autoplan transactions, including renewals, new policies, transfers, cancellations, and out-of-province registrations.
- Accurately complete all documentation, ensuring compliance with ICBC and brokerage policies.
- Handle walk-in traffic and phone inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Provide ongoing customer service support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales administration team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Experience
- Level 1 General Insurance License (BC) – Required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess client needs effectively.
- Experience in outside sales or telemarketing is a plus.
- Second language (Punjabi, Hindi, Mandarin, etc.) is an asset but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with clients.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Minimum 6 months of ICBC Autoplan experience – Required.
- Strong understanding of ICBC policies and procedures.

Pay: $38,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
