CLIENT ADVISOR, COMMERCIAL INSURANCE, REAL ESTATE

You’ll be the powerhouse behind key renewals, and elevated client experiences. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partnering closely with our Client Executives to execute ambitious growth strategies
  • Navigating a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with ease and confidence
  • Leading the full renewal cycle—marketing, underwriting negotiations, and spotting cross-sell opportunities
  • Preparing high-quality new business proposals and submissions
  • Assisting in the collection of outstanding receivables
  • Maximizing retention of existing book
  • Supporting existing clients with their new business needs, as required
  • Understanding and promoting risk management services
  • Supporting high-level executives on various strategic and administrative tasks
  • Providing claims support, generating invoices, and maintaining account files within EPIC, our broker management system
  • Handling other tasks and challenges as they arise—you’re the go-to when things get busy

LOCATIONS AND STATUS:

Victoria, BC

Permanent, Full-time (35 hrs/week)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Level 2 BC Broker License
  • 5+ years of insurance experience, including 2+ in commercial insurance
  • Knowledge of the Strata Property Act is a strong asset
  • Experience with EPIC is a bonus
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to manage time and tasks independently
  • Comfortable working beyond standard hours when needed—you get the job done
  • Progress toward CAIB/CIP designations strongly encouraged
  • Enthusiastic about collaboration and fostering a high-performing team culture
  • Tech-savvy with the skills to streamline tasks and leverage tools for efficiency
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
