We serve both consumers and broker partners with digital insurance products, and we're investing heavily in digital transformation and AI-powered workflows to lead digital insurance distribution in Western Canada.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing & Automation Manager to build on our existing systems and campaigns, modernize our digital marketing, integrate AI into daily operations, and drive online sales growth. You'll report to the VP of Operations and work closely with sales, IT, and carrier partners.
Core Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Sales Generation
- Own digital marketing strategy across SEO/SEM, paid social, email, and content — focused on generating and converting qualified insurance leads
- Manage the client journey: nurture campaigns, landing pages, and conversion-rate optimization
- Lead B2C acquisition/retention campaigns and B2B marketing programs to recruit and activate broker partners
- Own the marketing budget and report on ROI by channel and product line
Marketing Automation & CRM
- Manage HubSpot: build workflows for lead scoring, nurture sequences, and lifecycle management
- Maintain CRM data hygiene, segmentation, and journey mapping
- Ensure marketing and data practices comply with CASL, PIPA/PIPEDA privacy law, and Insurance Council of BC advertising rules
AI & Process Automation
- Identify and implement AI tools (chatbots, content generation, predictive analytics, lead routing) to improve efficiency and drive sales
- Build and maintain automations in n8n, Zapier, or Make.com, connecting HubSpot, Airtable, and other systems
- Track AI and insurtech trends and advise leadership on technology investments and ROI
Web, Data & Reporting
- Oversee WordPress, Webflow, and a custom Next.js quote-and-bind application; drive UX and conversion improvements
- Manage Airtable as the operational data layer, keeping records accurate and synced across systems
- Own GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking; build dashboards for leadership visibility
Project Management & Collaboration
- Run the digital roadmap in ClickUp and maintain documentation in Notion
- Manage external development and agency vendors
- Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor team members on digital tools and AI adoption
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5+ years in digital marketing, with hands-on experience across SEO/SEM, paid media, email, CRM, and analytics
- Proven success driving online lead generation and sales growth
- Expert-level HubSpot (or comparable marketing automation platform) experience, including workflow design
- Hands-on experience implementing AI tools (chatbots, content tools, predictive analytics, automation)
- Working knowledge of WordPress, Webflow, and modern JS frameworks (React/Next.js)
- Experience building production workflows in n8n, Zapier, or Make.com
- Experience with Airtable or a comparable relational data platform
- Proficiency with GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Tag Manager
- Strong project management skills (ClickUp preferred) and documentation habits (Notion or equivalent)
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, or a related field
Preferred
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry
- Familiarity with CASL and Canadian privacy requirements for marketing
- Experience with custom web apps (Next.js/React), Git, and API integrations
- Relevant certifications (Google Ads, HubSpot, or equivalent)
What You Bring
- A builder's mindset and curiosity about new technology, especially AI
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
