AMC Insurance is hiring a full-time Personal Lines Insurance Advisor. You'll look after your own group of personal lines clients, handling their home, condo, tenant, auto and travel insurance from quote to renewal.
This role suits someone with about 2 years in personal lines who is comfortable quoting and placing home policies, not only Autoplan.

What you'll do
- Quote, place and renew home, condo, tenant and travel policies
- Handle ICBC Autoplan transactions and endorsements in ICBC PolicyCenter
- Review each client's needs and recommend limits, deductibles and add-ons
- Prepare binders and renewal proposals
- Spot gaps in coverage and offer the right products
- Keep accurate notes and documents in our broker system
What you need
- Level 2 BC General Insurance Licence (Level 1 with strong personal lines experience will be considered)
- 2 years of personal lines and ICBC Autoplan experience
- Good knowledge of home insurance wordings and insurer underwriting rules
- Clear spoken and written English
- Organized and able to manage a busy client list
Nice to have
- CAIB or CIP courses completed or in progress
- Applied Epic experience
- A second language spoken by our clients

- $60,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experience
