B&W Insurance has a new opportunity for a full-time Insurance Broker at its Abbotsford Location.

Opportunity:

B&W is seeking an enthusiastic, confident, sales oriented team player to be part of our growing team. The successful applicant will have a minimum Level 1 license, experience with ICBC Autoplan and a background with Personal Lines. Preference will be given to applicants with greater than 2 years of applicable experience, outstanding communication skills and a strong willingness to learn. Applicants must be flexible and willing to work the occasional weekend day (on rotation).

Our offices foster flexible working environments with great teams already in place, however as we continue to grow we are looking for full-time brokers to grow with us and develop long lasting relationships with new and existing clients.

Pay scale is based off level of experience and expertise.

This is a position that is in-office, so no hybrid or work-from-home.

  • Compensation based on experience and expertise: $37,000 - $55,000 annually

Desired Skills

  • Level 2 General Insurance License is preferred but will consider Level 1 Licenses
  • 1-5 years' insurance experience
  • History of excellence with providing customer service to potential and existing clients
  • Sales experience
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Current working knowledge and experience with personal lines products
  • Proficiency and a level of confidence reading policy wordings and being able to explain and discuss coverages and coverage short-falls with clients.
  • Proficiency with ICBC's new Enhanced Care program along with online phone model.
  • Current working knowledge of basic fleet transactions
  • Medium proficiency/experience in working with Microsoft Windows PC's
  • Experience working on EPIC Systems
  • Strong English skills, both verbal and written
  • Multi-lingual skills an asset
  • Team player - office experience
  • Professional demeanor
