Personal Lines Insurance Advisor Opportunity
Location: 199 St. Laurent Ave., Quesnel, BC, V2J 2C7
Job Summary
Johnston Meier Insurance has a position available for a Personal Lines Insurance Advisor at our Quesnel, BC office. If you have a General Insurance Level 2 License (or Level 1 and working towards your Level 2) and at least one year of insurance office experience, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Provide renewal terms and optional quotes when required
- Update evaluators when necessary
- Provide new quotes on all Personal Lines types of business
- Offer additional products to provide Complete Customer Portfolios
- Keep detailed notes on our Computer System at all times (Paperless Environment)
- Keep abeyances updated and current
- Accounts Receivable

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Minimum Level 2 General Insurance Salesperson License, or Level 1 and working on achieving a Level 2 License within 18 months
- Level 2 License preferred

At least one year of insurance office experience

Coverage for Auto Insurance when required
- Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters, customers, and team members.
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service
- Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
- Company Portal knowledge is an asset
- Computer skills, including working knowledge of Word & Excel
