Commercial Marketing and Underwriting Leader

Job Summary

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct underwriting activities for new business, renewals, and policy changes within our Lloyd's Coverholder portfolio.
  2. Oversee and market new business, renewals, and policy changes for our Commercial Account P&C portfolio.
  3. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our underwriting contract(s), market contracts, forms, wordings, and company products.
  4. Collaborate closely with insurers and brokers to identify coverage solutions for clients.
  5. Enhance and refine existing underwriting guidelines and policy rating/issuance procedures.
  6. Create innovative programs for both existing and new facilities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial insurance experience
  • Preferably, prior experience in commercial underwriting
  • Possession of a Level 2 General Insurance Salesperson License or the ability to obtain one
  • Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

Salaries are determined based on education, skill set, license level, experience, and hours worked. The provided salary scale is applicable to full-time positions and is subject to change. Higher remuneration is available for highly qualified individuals.

Additionally, partnership opportunities and profit sharing are open to individuals who have demonstrated a history of excellence in underwriting and program management.
