Associate Insurance Advisor
We are excited to add an Associate Insurance Advisor to our dynamic team in Vancouver. He/She will be a key player in the support and development of the agency operation primarily through sales and service of The Co-operators personal lines products (auto and home insurance) and leads generation for additional product lines (commercial, life, and investments).

Roles and responsibilities:
- Sales, service, and profitable growth of personal lines insurance products.
- Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs.
- Prospect and cross-sell of commercial, life, and investments by identifying and recommending additional products/services that benefit the client.
- Complete front-line risk assessment and selection following underwriting guidelines.
- Achieve individual goals for outbound calls, client service, sales, multi-client relationships, quality, and productivity.
- Screen incoming phone calls and emails and forward them to coworkers. Respond to client questions and concerns, resolve customer complaints and escalate issues appropriately.
- Regular office admin tasks including following up with vendors, ordering supplies, bank deposit, and office maintance.
What to expect:
- Strict confidentiality with respect to client’s financial status and other personal information.
- This role involves direct verbal and written communication with clients and/or service providers in their environment.
- You may be required have your own vehicle, valid driver’s license and insurance.
- You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
Working Conditions:
- Regular office environment. May require occasional travel outside the office for banking or inspection.
- This postion replys on proficient computer skill including Windows, MS Office Suit, Salesforce, Billing Center, Policy Center. Typing speed need to be minimal 35 WPM.

To join our team:
- Legally eiligible working in Canada.
- One (1) year insurance industry experience or related business experience is preferred.
- General Insurance License is required.
- Meet all provincial-licensing requirements in accordance with continuing education in order to obtain and maintain all licenses.
- Knowledge of auto and property insurance products is an asset and experience with selling techniques is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Plus Commission: Build a residual book of business to have unlimited earning potential (level 2)
