Job Summary
Johnston Meier Insurance has a position available in our Brentwood office in Burnaby for a Licensed Commercial Lines Insurance Assistant (Mandarin speaking). Requires a Level 1 General Insurance License and at least one year of commercial insurance office experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Assist Commercial Producers with their portfolios in numerous areas such as marketing, processing, customer contact for additional information, accounts receivable, claims reporting to name a few.
- Keep detailed notes on our computer system at all times (Paperless Environment)
- Keep abeyances updated and current

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Minimum Level 1 General Insurance Salesperson License
- Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters, customers and team members
- Ability to speak Mandarin
- Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service
- Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
- Company Portal knowledge is an asset
- Computer skills including working knowledge with Word & Excel
