The Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will have a level 2 insurance license with experience in both ICBC and personal lines. As an Insurance Advisor at Penn Insurance, you will be sales-driven and results-oriented with a passion for helping others.  In this role, you will anticipate and proactively assist customers with a variety of insurance needs.

Responsibilities include - but not limited to:

  • Assisting of walk-in Personal Lines and Autoplan clientele
  • Process and monitor daily/weekly/monthly renewal lists
  • Autoplan and Personal Lines transactions as required
  • Servicing on-going client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct are calls and process renewals
  • Process ICBC renewals, new policies, endorsements, cancellations etc. to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business in an effort to grow book of business
  • General administrative duties as required

Requirements:

  • Level 2 General Insurance License 
  • Strong customer service and administration skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in Personal Lines and Autoplan
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced computer and administration skills
  • Accountability and sense of urgency
