Insurance Advisor

Job Summary

S&S Insurance is looking to expand our team with dedicated Personal Lines Insurance Advisors at our Delta and Surrey, BC locations. If you hold a General Insurance Level 2 License (or a Level 1 License and are actively working towards Level 2 certification), and have at least one year of experience in an insurance office, we invite you to apply. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive customer service for both ICBC and personal insurance clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and efficiency for walk-in clientele.
  • Manage new business acquisitions and process endorsements for personal lines, adhering to company and industry standards.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate notes within our paperless environment using the Epic computer system.
  • Ensure all client activities and follow-ups are updated and completed in a timely manner.
  • Support the Accounts Receivable process with diligence and accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Possession of a General Insurance Level 2 License, or Level 1 with a commitment to achieving Level 2 within 6 months (Level 2 preferred).
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in an insurance office, with exposure to personal lines.
  • Familiarity with auto insurance practices and procedures, with the ability to assist when needed.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing job duties or hours as required by the business.
  • Experience working with the Epic management system is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a general comfort level using other computer systems.
