The Opportunity:
We are seeking a driven and dedicated, entry-level professional, looking to take the next step in their insurance career.
The ideal candidate will have previous ICBC and Personal Lines experience and a Level 1 insurance license. As an Auto & Personal Lines Representative, you will be a key member of the team focussing on helping clients with their Autoplan and insurance needs. In this role, you will build rapport with clients, and provide exceptional service. This position will be based out of our office in Mayne (Gulf Islands), and has great earning potential with a base rate of pay (varies depending on experience) along with commissions!
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with walk-in and existing Autoplan and PL clientele
- Reviewing coverages and providing updates or new options for policies
- Processing ICBC and personal lines policies, including auto, travel, life, home, etc.
- Assisting with renewals to ensure there are no gaps in coverage or lapsed coverages
- Batching
- Helping to grow the business through building long-term professional relationships with current and potential clients, and cross-selling insurance products based on client needs
- Assisting with administrative tasks associated with Autoplan and personal lines
- Ad hoc duties as required
Required Skills:
- Level 1 Insurance license preferred
- Minimum 6 months of ICBC and Personal Lines experience
- Proficient with the English language (verbal and written)
- Strong customer focus and administrative office skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
- PowerBroker or TAM experience considered an asset
