The Role:

The successful candidate will be self-driven with a solid understanding of Autoplan and Personal Lines knowledge and experience. As an effective communicator, you will contribute to the overall growth of the organization by maintaining and growing the book of business, and promoting a superior customer-focussed experience, and supportive team environment.

 

About you:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on client needs
  • Assist with walk-in Personal Lines and Autoplan clientele, including providing quotes, invoices
  • Process and monitor daily/weekly/monthly renewal lists
  • Review policies for changes and accuracy, and collect premiums
  • Service on-going client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct are calls and process renewals
  • Process ICBC renewals, new policies, endorsements, cancellations etc. to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business in an effort to grow book of business
  • General administrative duties as required

 

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 General Insurance license from the Insurance Council of British Columbia
  • Minimum 3 years of Insurance experience in Personal Lines and ICBC Auto plan
  • Proficiency in MS office products and strong computer skills
  • Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to effectively multi-task between a variety of tasks, projects and deadlines
  • Proven sales techniques able to support continued revenue growth
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution with both clients and team members
  • Superior time management, organization and process management skills that ensure consistent quality of service delivery
