The Opportunity:
As the Auto and Personal Lines Agent, you will be a key member of our office team, building rapport with clients and providing exceptional service. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months auto and personal lines experience. This position has great earning potential with a base rate of pay (varies depending on experience) along with commissions. You will be required to work out of our West Vancouver location.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Offer and provide excellent customer service to our valued customers;
- Assisting walk-in customers with the help of our experienced team;
- Handling ICBC transactions, batching, learning auto and personal lines;
- Monitoring, processing and follow-up existing business office criteria;
- Miscellaneous tasks as required.
Required skills:
- An active level 1 or 2 general insurance license
- Willing to upgrade to level 2 license
- Must have basic ICBC and Personal Lines knowledge (minimum 6 months experience)
- A positive attitude and exceptional organizational skills
- Tam/Powerbroker experience considered an asset
- Must be able to work individually as well as part of a team
- Flexibility with schedule and job duties
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Solid communication skills (verbal and written)
