Exciting Opportunity for an Auto & Personal Lines Insurance Advisor

Job Summary
Johnston Meier Insurance has an exciting position available at our Rutland office in Kelowna for a Licensed Auto & Personal Lines Insurance Advisor. If you have an General Level 2 Insurance License (or a Level 1 and willing to achieve a Level 2 General Insurance License), and at least one year of insurance experience, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for ICBC Autoplan quotations, renewals, and new policies
- Assist with Personal Lines business when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Build customer portfolios
- Provide optional coverage quotes
- Cross-sell other JMI Insurance products
- Keep detailed notes on our computer system at all times (Paperless Environment)
- Follow company procedures as provided

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Level 1 Insurance license and willing to achieve a Level 2 General Insurance License
- Level 2 General Insurance Salesperson License preferred
- At least one year of insurance office experience
- Completed ICBC "Autoplan Basics for Brokers" Program
- Solid understanding and ability to navigate in ICBC Broker Connect and Policy Center
- Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters, customers, and team members
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service
- Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
- Minimum basic computer skills
