As an Account Administrator, a typical day might include:
- Delivering excellent administrative support and customer service while adhering to company guidelines and workflows
- Assisting brokers in the preparation of new and renewal documentation, including but not limited to:
- Certificates
- Invoicing
- Spreadsheets, proposals, and quote documents
- Binders, Cover Notes, and other policy documentation
- General physical and electronic file maintenance
- General clerical support
- Ensuring work is prompt, efficient and accurate, attends meetings and record minutes as required
- Demonstrating and applying knowledge of binding authorities & insurer portal and ensures all documents are accurate and accounts are kept in an orderly manner
- Managing daily administration of accounts, including correspondence; review of policy wordings; and issuance of new/renewal documentation
- Handling accounts and general account maintenance as well as perform additional duties, as required

Must haves:
- High School Diploma (at a minimum) with appropriate work experience to support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EPIC experience an asset.
- Commitment to providing superior customer service to a diverse clientele, recognizing and responding appropriately to business development opportunities to meet the customers’ insurance needs
- Excellent organizational & time-management skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple files and deadlines
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Creative & collaborative problem-solving skills, ability to handle pressure in a time constrained environment
- Exceptional attention to detail Inquisitive and investigative outlook
- Computer skills including proficiency with: Microsoft Office; client relationship management applications
