CE Webinars

We know brokers are busy, and live webinars allow you to obtain the CE credits needed to renew your licence from your home or office. You can expand your professional knowledge in a way that fits into your personal and professional schedule.

The webinars are listed in the Events Calendar along with other IBABC events. You can see them in the calendar view or list view. There is also a filter option to choose to only view the Webinars.

While we make every effort to adhere to our schedule, our webinars are subject to possible rescheduling or cancellation due to lack of registrations or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we aim to provide as much notice as possible and we offer full fee credits or refunds. IBABC is not in any way responsible to registrants in rescheduled or cancelled events for resultant loss.

Web Broadcast

IBABC webinars are transmitted in real time via the Internet. To participate, you need a high-speed Internet connection; a desktop or laptop computer (no tablets or cell phones) running an up-to-date web browser; and a telephone next to your computer (for the audio portion of the session). Further details about how to login to this webinar will be provided to you via email once you have registered.

Credits & Certificates

All brokers must complete eight CE credits annually to meet the Insurance Council of BC’s requirements. You are responsible to keep accurate records of your credit hours for license renewal.

You can find the courses you've taken through IBABC in your IBABC profile. If you have registered for webinars with us in the past, you already have an account and will need to activate your profile.

  • At the top of this webpage, click on "Portal Login."
  • On the login page, choose "First-Time Login?"
  • Enter your email address and you will be sent a link to create your password.
  • Once complete, login to view and update your profile.

If you are a brand-new user to IBABC, you will be able to set up a new account from the webinar registration page. If you're unsure if you already have an account with IBABC or experience difficulties, please contact Ileana Toledo at itoledo@ibabc.org.

IBABC CE webinar certificates will no longer be emailed to brokers. They are now available for you print from your profile:

  • At the top of this webpage, click on "Portal Login" and login to view and update your profile
  • Select “My Continuing Professional Development (CPD)” and you will see all your CPD activities
  • Click the PDF icon on the right to view your certificate
  • You can print or save from this screen
