Two Paths to Licensing
The following point-by-point comparison of Fundamentals of Insurance (FOI) and Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) 1 can help you decide which path is best for you to start your insurance broker career.
Those who are new to the insurance industry often choose FOI to get started. If you already have some experience in the insurance industry, the better path may be to register in the CAIB 1 course since it counts toward a CAIB designation, which Fundamentals does not.
